My Favorite Time... Halloween!

Hello it's me A.B. In a previos post, Elle put a picture of Halloween accidentally so I'm going to finish up what she started.

First I shoud start with why I love Halloween , candy,candy,candy,and... CANDY.

Second I love dressing up.This Halloween I'm going to be an elegant lady from Virginia in the Colonial Period. I love it!

I'm going to a friend's house on Halloween. I hope that it will be really fun. On comments I want to see funny stories of Halloween. I can't wait to read them .

  1. Alice, is your mom going to make your costume or where will you get it?

Funny Halloween stories? In highschool me and Gina and some friends dressed up as Christmas carolers. We went to a rich neighborhood and we really did Christmas carol at each door. And we didn't take candy either - we just wanted an excuse to dress up and sing. It confused a few people, but most people were delighted.

Hope YOU have a great Halloween this year!

Well, I don't have a feel-good Halloween story like Jamie, but I do have a funny one. Catherine probably remembers this one, too. It was a dark, rainy Halloween. I was dressed like Igor, and we were just about to go up to a house to get some candy. Another group got there right before us, so we were waiting our turn. Catherine and I turned to watched a bicylcist ride down the street. I turned around to the house again, and then heard a large BAM. Catherine started laughing, and I turned around to see the bicyclist on the ground. He had hit a parked car. He got up, and his front tire was bent. In retrospect, it's not that funny to hear about, because it's kind of sad, but it was really funny to watch it.

  3. I remember that one! It was a 65 degree night, no rain--a rare nice Halloween! We ran from house to house, and did the area around Brian's house. I loved going with you kids. (And I did the same thing last year with Alice and Elle-- it was another of those rare good-weather Halloweens.

Justin, that was the funniest thing--I still think about it from time to time. I guess I was lucky to see the whole thing.

Alice, that's a beautiful costume. You'll look wonderful in it. Don't forget to take lots of pictures! Connor wants to dress up as Thomas the Tank Engine--I have yet to figure out how that'll work!
